Job Description

EcoLube Recovery, a Pacific Northwest owned and operated company, is seeking a dedicated Class B Route Driver to join our team in Burlington, WA. This role involves driving a Class B truck over an established customer route to collect and deliver containerized packages. The position offers the advantage of being home nightly, with a schedule primarily from Monday through Friday. Responsibilities

• Collect bulk liquids and containerized packages from customers.
• Deliver new products to customers.
• Organize route service events efficiently, including call-in services.
• Communicate regularly with Customer Service/Dispatch throughout the day.
• Make scheduled stops at various customer locations, including call-in service requests.
• Inform regular customers of new products or services and solicit new business as appropriate.
• Properly measure and dispense new antifreeze.
• Inspect and ensure all containers are properly labeled.
• Load and unload containerized waste and new materials.
• Complete all required customer and DOT paperwork accurately.
• Address and resolve service complaints, involving management when necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness and good operating order of the collection truck.
• Comply with all safety and environmental policies and procedures.
• Act professionally towards customers, vendors, and co-workers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years’ experience driving Class B vehicles preferred.
• 1-2 years of route-based driving experience highly preferred.
• Valid Class B CDL required.
• Tanker endorsement preferred, with the ability to obtain one upon hire required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude preferred.
• Ability to become forklift certified.
• Basic operating knowledge of computers, including basic Office suite.
• Basic math skills.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to understand instructions given verbally or in writing in English.
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical.
• Ability to frequently stand, walk, sit, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
• Manual dexterity sufficient to drive and operate equipment.
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move more than 75lbs.

Compensation

$28-30/hr . This position is eligible for quarterly bonuses in accordance with ELR's Driver Safety Bonus Program.
