G-Net Construction is hiring a full-time Construction Laborer to support commercial interior construction, renovation, and facility maintenance projects across NYC. This is a hands-on field position for someone who is reliable, hardworking, and willing to support carpenters, plumbers, electricians, painters, and other trades. 

This role is best suited for someone who is punctual, physically able to perform field work, follows directions well, and takes pride in keeping job sites clean, safe, and organized. 

Responsibilities:

• Assist tradespeople with daily construction and maintenance tasks 
• Load, unload, move, and organize materials, tools, and equipment 
• Set up and maintain site protection, dust control, and cleanup areas 
• Perform demolition support and debris removal as directed 
• Clean work areas and maintain safe job site conditions 
• Help prepare job sites for carpenters, plumbers, electricians, and painters 
• Operate basic hand tools and small equipment as directed 
• Follow directions from supervisors and lead tradespeople 

Required Qualifications:

• Construction field experience preferred 
• OSHA-40 required for NYC field work 
• Must be able to work on the books 
• Must be reliable, punctual, and physically able to perform field work 
• Must communicate clearly and follow direction 
• Must work neatly and keep job sites organized 
• Must have basic hand tools, including at minimum a tape measure and hammer 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license is a plus 
• Staten Island resident or reliable transportation is a plus 
• Own vehicle is a plus 
• Basic carpentry, painting, demolition, or construction experience is a plus
