Controller

Responsibilities of the Controller:

• Manage & train a team of 4 (1 onsite and 3 remote)
• Record daily financial transactions
• Process AP & AR; prepare and issue checks
• Reconcile bank statements and inter-company accounts
• Maintain accurate ledgers, journals, and supporting documentation
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing
• Communicate with both domestic and international team members to resolve discrepancies
• Maintain compliance with company policies and internal controls
• Support special projects and general accounting needs

Requirements for the Controller:

• Master’s Degree in Accounting
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting + a CPA will also be considered
• At least 5 years of senior-level accounting experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
• Strong understanding of AP/AR, reconciliations, and general ledger functions
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
• Strong communication skills and professionalism
• Able to work onsite
• Able to work an average of 45 hours per week
