Akkodis is seeking a Data Engineer Lead for a Contract with a client in Bellevue, WA. The ideal candidate will design and governs enterprise‑grade datasets while developing complex DAX/KQL/SQL logic to deliver actionable insights across the organization .
Rate Range: $50/hour to $53/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Data Engineer Lead job responsibilities include:
Design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and ingestion frameworks supporting analytics, reporting, and Capacity planning for Data Center buildouts.
Develop and maintain semantic models and Power BI dashboards by integrating data from Azure DevOps, Halo, and other enterprise sources.
Create advanced DAX measures, calculated columns, and data transformations to deliver KPI‑driven insights aligned with business needs.
Write, refine, and manage SQL and KQL queries to ensure efficient data retrieval, integration, and performance across reporting layers.
Oversee Power BI dataset governance, workspace management, and RLS implementation to maintain data quality, security, and compliance.
Collaborate with cross‑functional business and technical teams to translate reporting requirements into scalable, end‑to‑end analytics solutions.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.
4–6 years of hands‑on experience in data engineering, analytics development, or BI platform engineering.
Proven expertise in Microsoft Azure, Power BI, SQL/KQL, and data pipeline development.
Strong experience integrating data from multiple enterprise systems (e.g., Azure DevOps, Halo) and delivering secure, scalable reporting solutions.
