Job Title: Low Voltage Technician
Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Low Voltage Technician who is experienced in running projects and has a strong understanding of circuit systems. The ideal candidate will have expertise in pulling and running wires for various systems including cameras, alarm systems, security interfaces, fire alarms, and network cables.

Responsibilities

  • Pull and run wires for cameras, alarm systems, security interfaces, fire alarms, and network cables.
  • Splice and terminate wires efficiently.
  • Understand and work with circuits.
  • Perform fiber optic wire tasks including fiber fusion splicing.
  • Work with CAT6, network, LAN, and Ethernet data cables.
Essential Skills
  • Proficiency in low voltage and fiber optic cabling.
  • Experience with CAT6 cable and fiber optic wire.
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
  • Knowledge of low voltage installation and cable splicing.
  • Familiarity with BICSI standards and security system installation.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Knowledge of construction and building codes.
  • Understanding of safety protocols.
  • Experience with fire alarm systems and electrical wiring.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
