Job Title: Shipping Technician

Job Description

The Shipping Technician is responsible for picking and packing supplement products, managing up to 300 packages per day. Assigned to a station, the technician will stand for the entire shift, lifting and pushing up to 50 pounds. Working within a small team, attendance and accuracy are top priorities. Each station includes a computer for order confirmation and label creation, and technicians will manage emails using Microsoft Outlook. This role operates within an FDA-approved clean room atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack up to 300 supplement packages per day.
• Lift and push up to 50 pounds.
• Empty two small carts per hour to maintain workflow.
• Maintain high attendance and accuracy.
• Manage computer systems for order confirmation and label creation.
• Communicate via email using Microsoft Outlook.
• Ensure compliance with FDA-approved clean room standards.

Essential Skills

• Previous picking or packing experience.
• Ability to lift and push up to 50 pounds.
• High attention to detail for accurate order and label processing.
• Basic computer skills for managing orders and labels.
• Familiarity with GMPs and SOPs.
• Problem-solving skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Basic math skills.
• Experience with ERP systems and software.
• Knowledge of FedEx and USPS shipping processes.
• Ability to scan and verify shipments.

Work Environment

The facility is a fast-paced, highly regulated warehouse environment, solely dedicated to shipping technicians (pickers/packers). Working conditions adhere to FDA standards due to the pharmaceutical nature of the products. Dress code and attire must meet clean room requirements. The role follows established procedures based on SOPs and cGMPs.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Benicia, CA.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
