Our fast-paced pediatric dental office in El Cerrito is looking for a full-time registered dental assistant who is positive, friendly, relational, and self-motivated. We are a tight-knit team that values clear communication and helping one another to be able to treat our patients with the highest standard of care.

• Is reliable and finds value in providing optimal care to our patients.

Duties Include:

• Sterilization of dental instruments.
• Providing exceptional patient care including oral hygiene instruction, dental prophylaxis, and coronal polishing.
• Chairside assisting in restorative procedures including those with nitrous oxide, oral sedation, and general anesthesia.
• Taking accurate dental radiographs.
• Managing phone correspondences with patients.

Qualifications:

• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Able to multi-task.
• Able to work independently and as a team.
• Creatively solves problems and creates results.
• Is self-motivated and a fast learner.
• Maintains a professional appearance and attitude.
• Dentrix experience is a plus.
• Existing coronal polishing and x-ray permits/licenses.
• BLS certification is required.
