Job Description

COLORS Worldwide is currently hiring skilled Production Equipment Truck Drivers to be a part of our team. As a Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting our production equipment to and from live concert events.

Production equipment includes but is not limited to lighting fixtures, LED panels, road cases, confetti cannons, cryo jets, merchandise, as well as other essential tools necessary for event production. Our live concert events typically take place on weekends, though occasional weekday shows may be required based on the event schedule. As a Driver, you will be departing from our Los Angeles hub to various cities across America where our live concert events are held.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely and safe transportation of production equipment to various locations
  • Drive long distances while maintaining a high level of alertness and focus
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, including federal and state DOT regulations
  • Perform regular maintenance checks on the vehicle to ensure safe and efficient operation (refueling, cleaning, etc.)
  • Communicate effectively with the production team to coordinate equipment loading and unloading with forklifts and pallet jacks
  • Maintain accurate records of all equipment transportation and report any issues or incidents to management promptly
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must Live in the Los Angeles area
  • Minimum of 3 years of long-distance driving experience
  • Clean driving record and a valid driver's license (CDL not required)
  • Flexibility to work weekends and nights as required
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
