As a Security Officer Lobby Desk in Apex NC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal at a professional front desk location where you will greet visitors support access procedures monitor activity and provide outstanding customer service and this stationary role you will help promote a secure environment through strong presence attention to detail and professionalism. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at the front desk.
• Monitor visitor access check in guests and assist with directing employees visitors and deliveries in accordance with location protocols.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner while communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Maintain awareness of front desk activity report unusual behavior and/or policy concerns and document incidents according to post guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid knowledge is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
