About the Role

Arch Systems is looking for a Senior Sales Engineer based in Europe to serve as a critical technical partner in our go-to-market motion. In this role, you will support the pre-sales process by clearly articulating Arch's product capabilities and value proposition, designing and executing pilots to demonstrate return on investment (ROI), and defining integrated solutions that connect Arch with customer and partner production systems.

You will act as a key bridge between customers, sales, and product teams—leveraging your expertise across Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) to guide prospects through complex technical evaluations. This role requires strong manufacturing domain knowledge, technical depth, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

This role must be based in Europe. Candidates must be located in Europe to be considered.

What You Will Own & Drive

  • Pre-Sales Technical Leadership: Partner with Account Executives to qualify opportunities, uncover customer needs, and guide prospects through technical evaluation and decision-making.
  • Product Demonstrations: Deliver compelling, technically credible demonstrations that highlight the business and operational value of Arch's manufacturing AI and data platform.
  • Pilot & ROI Execution: Define, plan, and execute pilots and proofs of concept (PoCs) that validate technical fit and demonstrate measurable ROI.
  • Solution Design & Mapping: Work directly with customers to understand manufacturing processes and challenges, and map Arch's solutions to address their specific pain points.
  • Customization & Integration: Collaborate with product and engineering teams to propose solutions that integrate Arch with customer and partner production systems.
  • Technical Presentations: Present complex technical concepts clearly to a range of stakeholders, from shop-floor engineers to executive leadership.
  • Security Reviews: Respond to customer security questionnaires using Arch's existing response library, while maintaining and expanding that knowledge base to improve efficiency and consistency.
  • Training & Enablement: Provide hands-on training and technical support to customers during pilots and early-stage deployments.
  • Competitive Awareness: Stay informed on industry trends, competitive solutions, and emerging technologies, and clearly articulate Arch's differentiation.
  • Travel: Travel approximately 25% of the time for customer meetings, product demonstrations, trainings, and industry events.

What You Bring to the Table

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in a technical sales, sales engineering, or solutions engineering role within manufacturing environments.
  • Manufacturing Systems Knowledge: Strong understanding of IT and OT systems, with the ability to design and explain integrated manufacturing solutions.
  • Technical Communication: Exceptional presentation and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical topics to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a practical approach to designing solutions for customer challenges.
  • Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively in a remote, cross-functional team environment.
  • Languages: Fluent written and spoken English required; additional languages are a strong plus for supporting global customers.
  • Location Requirement: Must be located in Europe.

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Hands-on experience in discrete manufacturing , either working directly at a manufacturer or selling into manufacturing environments
  • Ability to write sample code, build custom dashboards, or otherwise tailor technical artifacts to support demos, pilots, or PoCs
  • Comfort navigating complex sales cycles with multiple technical and business stakeholders
  • Strong curiosity and willingness to go deep into customer problems to design the right solution

How We Will Support You

  • Innovate with Impact: Join a team building advanced AI and data products that meaningfully improve manufacturing operations around the world. Your work will contribute directly to efficiency, sustainability, and technical agility for major industrial players.
  • Collaborative Environment: Work alongside a passionate, multidisciplinary team that values curiosity, open dialogue, and cross-functional collaboration. We foster an environment of continuous learning and shared success.
  • Growth & Development Opportunities: Develop leadership and technical skills through hands-on experience with product innovation, complex customer programs, and data-driven decision-making. Arch supports your long-term career advancement and deepening of industry expertise.
